Professor Richard Wiseman started his career as a magician but later he became a psychologist. As a psychologist, he specialises in such areas as deception, luck and the paranormal. Wiseman’s researches in these areas became very popular. Over one million people have taken part in his breathtaking experiment.
One of his most famous works is exploring lucky people. Professor Wiseman worked with lucky and unlucky people. Aim of this work was to find why some people achieve a lot without special work or talent. This research helped to point out main techniques that help people think and behave like a lucky person.
Another Professor Wiseman’s research is about names and surnames. In this research, he was trying to find how people’s names are related to their career choices, lifestyles etc. He found out that people who are happy with their names achieve more than people who would like to change their names.
